The General Election is November 3, 2026
A Life of Service
Service has shaped my life from the very beginning.
My father came to the United States as an immigrant in 1989, where he met my mother and together they raised our family in central Sioux Falls. My mom was a nurse, and my dad served as an addictions counselor, school counselor, and hospice chaplain.
Our home became a place where people found belonging. Refugees, single mothers, new South Dakotans, and families starting over often found a warm meal, a place to sleep, or simply someone willing to welcome them.
Growing up in that home taught me a lesson that has guided my life ever since:
The blessings we receive are meant to become blessings we share with our neighbors.
That belief continues to guide how Carrie and I are raising our own family and why I have chosen to serve our community.
Why District 15?
District 15 is unlike any other legislative district in South Dakota.
It is home to established neighborhoods, downtown Sioux Falls, local businesses, parks, schools, churches, and many of the institutions that make our city such a vibrant place to live.
Our district brings together people from many backgrounds and experiences, but we share a common hope: that our neighborhoods remain safe, our children have every opportunity to succeed, our local businesses continue to grow, and our community remains a place where families can put down roots and thrive.
Having lived in District 15 for the past eight years, Carrie and I have built our lives here. This is where we are raising our four boys, worshipping, volunteering, coaching youth sports, and investing in our community. District 15 isn't simply where we live. It's where we've chosen to put down roots, raise our family, build lasting friendships, and invest in the future of our community.

Long before I understood politics, I learned that healthy communities are built by listening well, caring deeply, and investing in the people around us.

Practical Leadership
Throughout my career, I have worked alongside South Dakota employers, school districts, cities, counties, healthcare providers, and businesses across the Upper Midwest to solve complex challenges affecting budgets, employees, and families.
That experience has given me firsthand insight into many of the issues facing our communities today, including workforce development, rising healthcare costs, access to mental and behavioral healthcare, addiction recovery, and the importance of creating an environment where businesses can grow and workers can succeed.
Real leadership isn't measured by the volume of political rhetoric.
It's measured by the ability to listen carefully, bring people together, and find practical solutions that improve people's lives.
That is the approach I will bring to Pierre.
